Synposis: Each year, in a quiet corner of England, one snail becomes the hero of a great race. The film opens with an animated sequence, building tension as the competitors set off. Just before the winner is revealed, the action pauses. Then, through the interview with the Snail Master, we discover the history of the event, while preparations for this year’s competition unfold.

As the big day approaches, we meet both human caretakers and their snail champions. Excitement grows, and the stakes (though tiny) feel very real.

Towards the end, we return to where it all began, completing the opening sequence and revealing the long-awaited winner. Finally, we meet the victorious snail and its owner, celebrating triumph with a bucket of lettuce. It’s a reminder that even the smallest beings can be heroes.
